Archive Live is a scheme to promote the creative use of materials held in the Scottish Screen Archive. With widespread access to computers and the Internet, we now have an opportunity to deliver moving image history directly to users in their homes, schools and offices. The production scheme has also raised awareness of the materials held in the Scottish Screen Archive. Each project team was allowed access to the Archive to research and develop the project. Within the Archive’s 1300 miles of film and 3000 hours of Scottish film history are huge resources which can be made available for commercial and non-commercial use.
